Mather had employed the creative strategy of advertising for homes without showing buildings, a year before. The Work hard, Live Easy campaign took this a step further, and to great success.
The background for this ad was the cola controversy of 2004. The soft drink majors had all been accused of having pesticide content in their products. In Kerala there was the additional hoo-ha about the large quantities of ground-water being used by these bigwigs.
Identiti was established in 1999. Initially, the Cochin based agency had tie-ups with SSC&B and Lowe. But over the years, identiti grew in strength and stood on its own feet. Today, it is acknowledged as one of Kerala’s most creative agencies.
